When winter arrives, the "high Alpine mountain" not only impresses with its panoramic views of over 400 peaks but also its action-packed side: at 7.5 kilometres in length, one of Germany’s longest and most spectacular ski runs awaits here. Less experienced winter sports enthusiasts will also find a diverse range of blue and red runs among the 13 kilometres of pistes available in total.

And it’s not just the high Alpine skiing that’s spectacular; the gondola ride to the Höfatsblick mountain station at almost 2,000 metres is an adventure in itself. The new, 10-seater lift offers maximum passenger comfort and glorious panoramic views from every seat for a truly unique experience.

The view from the Nordwandsteig at the peak station is also breathtaking. The view goes down 600 m and over the whole Allgäu. Also accessible in winter!

Non-stop fun: whether on the 36 kilometres of piste with the two valley runs with guaranteed snow or in the action-packed Crystal Family funparks, with the "dynamic mountain" of the Fellhorn and the "boundless mountain" of the Kanzelwand, the cross-border ski region offers a complete experience. Even beginners can enjoy the snowboarding and freestyle highlight with easy to mid-difficulty kicker lines and simple obstacles. And there is plenty of chance to practice as a family first: a blue family piste runs from the mountain station to the Höfle station as the perfect dynamic introduction to the cross-border skiing experience.

A wonderful winter hiking trail to the Schlappoldsee and an inviting mountain restaurant with a terrace and sun loungers make the winter day perfect.

Family friendly and brimming with potential for an action-packed day: as the Allgäu’s most modern adventure mountain, the "action-packed mountain" seems made for making memories through hours of active family fun. Fourteen beautifully groomed kilometres of piste and Söllis Winterwelt particularly attract novice skiers to the ski area by the Söllereckbahn cable car. Conveyor belts and practice slopes help beginners get to grasp with the basics. But new-comers to the world of skiing need to beware of the “Hexenschuss” – the black run on the Schrattenwang is challenging for even the most daring of skiers, who it is sure to leave wanting more.

The 10-person gondola takes guests comfortably from the valley station to the slopes.

High above the Kleinwalsertal valley is one of Europe’s few flat-topped mountains, the Ifen. Its high plateau features a large karst landscape spanning some ten square kilometres. Covered with bizarre snow dunes in winter, the mountain is shrouded in fantastical legends.

Every winter’s day on the "mystical mountain" is unique and offers fairy-tale-like experiences. The modern 10-seater cable car transports passengers to an impressive ski area with 25 kilometres of varied pistes. Beginner skiers and snowboarders are awaited by long blue slopes while the more advanced can brave the Olympic run into the valley.

The "relaxed mountain" surprises with a very special feature: a geo-viewing platform with a glass lift. The mountain station at almost 2,000 metres offers breathtaking panoramic views of the unique cross-border landscape and even into Switzerland. With the incomparable panorama as their starting point, avid winter sports enthusiasts can begin their relaxed winter adventure and carve their way down 15 kilometres of pistes through the natural snowy paradise.

Towering over the Kleinwalsertal valley with spectacular views of Hirschegg and Riezlern, the "affectionate mountain" connects several ski areas. So why not leave your car behind and set off along the ski paths for a skiing adventure? The Kanzelwand, Ifen and Walmendingerhorn can all be easily and conveniently accessed via valley or ski paths or by shuttle bus. The over 23 kilometres of piste are particularly popular with families, for whom practice slopes guarantee plenty of hours of fun.
